Ingredients

  • 4 salmon filets, skin on

  • 3 garlic clove, minced

  • 3 tablespoons honey

  • 1 tablespoon oil

  • 2 tablespoons fresh squeezed lemon juice

  • chopped parsley for garnish, if desired

Directions

  • Season salmon with salt and pepper.
  • Heat oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add salmon, skin side down and cook for 5-7 minutes. Cooking time depends on thickness of salmon filets.
  • Flip salmon over. Add garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  • Whisk honey and lemon juice in a small bowl. Pour sauce to skillet and continue to cook for 1-3 minutes, until salmon is cook through and sauce is thick.
  • Remove from heat. Allow salmon to cool enough to handle. Peel off skin.
  • Sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish, if desired.
  • Serve immediately!
