If you are finding something tasty and fun to make with hot dogs, these cheese stuffed dogs are right up your street.

Ingredients

  • 4 buns

  • 4 hot dogs

  • 4 thick slices cheddar, cut into 1/2″ strips

  • 8 slices bacon

  • 1 green onion, sliced (optional)

  • 1 jalapeño, sliced (optional)

  • Ketchup, for serving

Directions

  • Slice hot dogs in half lengthwise. Place strips of cheddar inside dogs and wrap with bacon.
  • Heat a large skillet on high heat. Add hot dogs, and cook; turning frequently until all sides become crispy.
  • Serve with buns and toppings of your choice.
