Ingredients

  • 1¼ pounds salmon fillet

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 3 tablespoons melted butter or melted ghee

  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

  • ¼ teaspoon dried oregano

  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 tablespoon chopped parsley, for garnishing

  • lemon slices, for garnishing

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF. Prepare a baking sheet lined with foil.
  • Add lemon juice, garlic, and melted butter or melted ghee to a small bowl. Whisk to combine. Place salmon on prepared baking sheet. Pour butter mixture over salmon. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
  • Fold sides of foil over salmon. Place pan into oven, and bake until cooked, about 12-16 minutes. Cooking time depends on thickness of fillet.
  • Remove foil, and broil salmon for 2-3 minutes. Make sure not to burn the fish!
  • Remove from oven. Pour some butter sauce left in foil onto salmon before serving; using a spoon.
  • Garnish with parsley. Serve immediately!
