Ingredients

  • 20 white button mushrooms, cleaned

  • 1 cup plain breadcrumbs

  • 3 tablespoons Parmesan cheese, grated

  • ½ cup all-purpose flour

  • 2 eggs

  • ½ teaspoon paprika

  • ½ teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • more salt and pepper, to season flour

  • Cooking spray

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 400F/200C. Prepare a baking sheet lined with non-stick foil and set aside.
  • Combine breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, paprika, salt, and black pepper in a shallow dish.
  • Whisk together egg and minced garlic in a separate shallow bowl.
  • Add flour and season with salt & pepper to taste in another dish.
  • Pat dry mushrooms with a paper towel.
  • Working by one, coat each mushroom into flour, then dip into egg mixture, then dredge into breadcrumb mixture.
  • Place breaded mushrooms onto prepared baking sheet. Repeat with remaining mushrooms.
  • Lightly spray cooking spray on top of breaded mushrooms.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 12-16 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Serve warm with a dip of your choice. Enjoy!
