1¼ pounds salmon fillet
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons melted butter or melted ghee
2 tablespoons lemon juice
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon dried oregano
¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper
½ teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon chopped parsley, for garnishing
lemon slices, for garnishing
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375ºF. Prepare a baking sheet lined with foil.
- Add lemon juice, garlic, and melted butter or melted ghee to a small bowl. Whisk to combine. Place salmon on prepared baking sheet. Pour butter mixture over salmon. Season with salt, pepper, oregano, and red pepper flakes.
- Fold sides of foil over salmon. Place pan into oven, and bake until cooked, about 12-16 minutes. Cooking time depends on thickness of fillet.
- Remove foil, and broil salmon for 2-3 minutes. Make sure not to burn the fish!
- Remove from oven. Pour some butter sauce left in foil onto salmon before serving; using a spoon.
- Garnish with parsley. Serve immediately!
