Honey Lime Sriracha Chicken Poppers

Ingredients

  • For Chicken
  • 2 chicken breasts

  • 1 cup flour

  • 3 eggs, beaten

  • 2 teaspoons salt

  • 1 teaspoon pepper

  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • ½ teaspoon ground ginger

  • Oil for, frying

  • For Sauce
  • ⅓ cup honey

  • ½ cup sriracha

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 3 teaspoons lime juice

  • 5 tablespoons butter

Directions

  • Cut chicken breasts into cubes. Combine with salt, pepper, garlic, and ginger in a medium bowl. Toss until evenly coated.
  • Place flour and beaten eggs into two separate bowls.
  • Dip each chicken piece in flour, then in eggs until fully covered. Return to flour and coat well.
  • Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat (to 375°F/190°C).
  • Carefully drop coated chicken, in batches, and fry until golden and cooked through, about 10 minutes.
  • Add butter, honey, Sriracha, soy sauce, and lime juice in a saucepan, and heat over medium heat. Add chicken and stir until completely covered.
  • Drizzle with ranch, blue cheese, or honey. Serve!
