Ingredients

  • 4 medium sweet potatoes, peeled and washed

  • 1/2 tsp kosher salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder

  • 2 tbsp. oil (canola or olive oil)

  • 1/4 tsp paprika or chili powder (optional)

Directions

  • Preheat oven to 415°F. Line a baking sheet with nonstick foil or parchment paper.
  • Cut sweet potatoes into thin wedges (about 1/4″ x 3″).
  • Lay sweet potatoes, in a single layer, onto prepared baking sheet. Toss with olive oil.
  • Place in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Mix together the seasonings and sprinkle evenly over the fries.
  • Flip half way through and bake for another 10-15 minutes, or until crisp.
  • Serve hot with a dipping sauce of your choice. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For extra crispy sweet potato fries: Soak uncooked fries in ice cold water for 30 minutes. Pat dry and then place in a zip top bag with 2 teaspoons of cornstarch and shake until evenly coated. Use canola oil.
  • For fry sauce: Combine 1/4 cup mayo and 1 1/2 Tablespoons ketchup. Add a dash of seasoned salt.
