Ingredients

  • For Sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced

  • 6 tablespoons honey

  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce

  • 2 tablespoons barbecue sauce

  • 1 teaspoon fish sauce

  • 1 teaspoon white wine vinegar

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch

  • 1/2 cup water

  • For Chicken
  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into chunks

  • 1/2 cup flour

  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

  • 3 eggs

  • Oil for, frying

Directions

  • Combine all ingredients for sauce in a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and let simmer until starting to thicken. Set aside.
  • Pat chicken dry with paper towels.
  • Pour flour into a shallow dish. Whisk eggs in second dish and put breadcrumbs into third dish.
  • Coat chicken coat first in flour, then in egg and finally in breadcrumbs. Transfer to a wire rack.
  • Heat oil in a nonstick frying pan over medium high heat. Carefully place chicken, in batches, and fry for 6-8 minutes, until golden and crispy on the outside and cooked through on the inside.
  • Add fried chicken into sauce pan. Toss until everything is coated and sauce has thickened to a syrupy consistency.
  • Serve immediately over a bed of rice or noodles. Enjoy!
